Job Description
Undertake 6 & 12 monthly LGI & Drilling Tools on MODU’s.
We require 2 LGI Inspectors to undertake the thorough examination and where applicable proof load testing of lifting equipment, machines and appliances, onshore and offshore as required by company operations and in accordance with company procedures, instructions and industry best practice.
To complete digitised examination, test and remedial action reports in accordance with company requirements.
Long term employment in a salaried position for personnel with a professional and productive approach to their work. You will be required to work with local workforce leading and directing as required. The rotation is 5 & 5 weeks.
A minimum of 3 years continuous experience of LGI on Drilling Units is essential.
Must be computer literate and able to operate data base, for which training will be given.

NDT: ASNT Level II MPI; LPI

As part of our core business activities, DSL operates a significant in-house team of rope access personnel, (IRATA), undertaking a variety of offshore related construction and inspection related tasks on installations, Worldwide. We now wish to appoint an experienced Manager to take responsibility for both the day to day management of the rope access activities of the company and for the further development of our rope access services to both new and existing customers, especially in the UK/European Market.
Candidates should possess a proven track record in the Oil & Gas Industry with regard to operational and business development management of services associated with rope access, and have the ambition and drive to grow this element of the business.
The ideal candidate should be very familiar with IRATA and have previously held a similar position applicable to rope access and related services, in an Oil and Gas related company. The ability to communicate effectively with both customers and staff is essential and suitable candidates will be accustomed to implementing their own initiative and drive to achieve optimum safety and performance.
You will be responsible for the on-going review and development of current rope access processes and procedures and ensure that all equipment is maintained/recorded in accordance with IRATA guidelines and support other DSL offices with the IRATA requirements in our overseas locations

DSL Middle East are recruiting Inspectors experienced in the inspection of offshore derricks and onshore mast and substructures to API 4G as well as experience in Dropped Object Surveys.
Inspectors must possess valid Offshore Survival/Medical and be IRATA certified. Applicants that are also LGI inspectors with LEEA qualification are welcome to apply.

The role involves managing the day to day projects associated with onshore and offshore Drilling Structures and Systems. These projects range from relatively small upgrade projects to larger upgrade both in the UK and overseas. The successful applicant may occasionally be required to travel overseas. Main Tasks
To liaise with design engineers/draughtsmen on project to ensure the design scope of work is carried out in accordance with plan
Liaise with all project and corporate departments relating to engineering.

The role of the Engineering Manager is to manage the engineering and projects resources within the company, including drafting personnel, and discipline engineers and to ensure that the department is properly resourced for the workload of the business. We have an opportunity for a full time Project/Operations Engineer to join our Brasil operation in Macae. The position involves running small and medium sized projects and attending to associated operational issues. This will typically include liaising with various departments and customers within the company on project requirements, planning resources and vendors to identification of offshore/site planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have experience of the upstream Oil and Gas Industry, and knowledge of drilling rigs/systems or rig refurbishment and/or fabrication background would be a particular advantage.
Applicants should ideally be Brasilian or speak fluent Portuguese, discipline engineer of mechanical or structural background but experienced personnel without qualification will also be considered.
