| Rope Access Services Manager |

As part of our core business activities, DSL operates a significant in-house team of rope access personnel, (IRATA), undertaking a variety of construction and inspection related tasks on projects, worldwide. We have a position available for an experienced Manager to take responsibility for both the day to day management of the rope access activities of the company and business development of our rope access services.
The ideal candidate should be very familiar with IRATA and have previously held a similar position applicable to rope access and related services, in an Oil and Gas related company. The ability to communicate effectively with both customers and staff is essential and suitable candidates will be accustomed to implementing their own initiative and drive to achieve optimum safety and performance.
Applicants with the background, experience and qualifications to assume the "Technical Authority" role will also be most welcome.
The position can be located either in Aberdeen or Great Yarmouth office, subject to the location of the ideal candidate.
The position offers a generous remuneration package, as well as performance related bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

| Sales and Marketing Manager |

We have a vacancy for an experienced manager to promote our range of services and products to the upstream sector of the Oil and Gas Industry to the International and Domestic market. The position will involve visiting both UK and Overseas customers, who are made up of Drilling Contractors, Operators and Shipyards etc. and therefore will require regular travel. You will also be involved in industry related exhibitions and the planning/preparation of these, as well as a significant input into the marketing activities of the company. The ideal candidate will have at least five years experience in a similar position within the Upstream end of the Oil Industry and experience/detailed knowledge of drilling rigs and/or systems would be advantageous. The position reports direct to the Managing Director.
Remuneration will subject to experience but candidates can expect a good base salary and comprehensive benefits package.

| Operations Manager - Macae |

Operations Manager shall ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all offshore/workshop projects and associated administration of our Macáe facility.
This is an opportunity to join our Brazil operation and make a significant contribution to the development of our services within the region.
MAIN DUTIES: The main duties of this position are as follows;
Ensuring that the respective departments of the Brazil operation are performing as required and providing support and guidance as and when required.
These departments include the fabrication workshop, inspection department and offshore construction services and associated administration.
Liaison with customers regarding issues ranging from sales enquiries, progress, close out etc.
Providing assistance to management in the development of tender/bid packages
Establishing work priorities and production efficiency, and the maintenance of budget hours and commercial cost
Ensuring products comply with specified quality standards and company's commercial and contractual obligations
Maintaining workforce discipline in accordance with company employment procedures and in observance of applicable statutory regulations
Ensuring that all production related activities comply with the company's health and safety procedures, client policies and/or specific requirements and controlling statutory regulations
Monitoring of procurement and purchasing of materials/plant in accordance with clients requirements
Ensuring the regular administration of stock control activities
Recommendations for new plant and equipment relative to company's production processes, and for the evaluation of new/alternative production methods
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years experience of Ops Management or similar role in an upstream service type company, preferably in Brazil and at least 5 years Upstream Industry experience.
Experience of either Inspection, Industry construction/fabrication activities or similar offshore services would be an advantage.
Candidates should be able to at least communicate in Portuguese.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Full time employment in Brazil is required. International candidates who are will to relocate will be considered for this position, as will persons currently resident in Brazil.
Office hours and overtime as required along with off site attendance to customer offices for meetings. Occaisional domestic and international travel will be required.

| Derrick Inspection Personnel |

We have positions available for personnel with experience of undertaking Derrick, Mast and Substructure inspections. The work is varied and involves both onshore and offshore rigs, worldwide, therefore candidates must be willing to travel extensively. You must also be able to convey a detailed knowledge of drilling structures and compile comprehenstive inspection reports and associated information via computer software. Applicaitons from personnel with NDT and/or Welding Inspector qualifications would be advantageous.
These positions are considered long term, at attractive rates and high earnings potential. Overseas candidates that match the above requirements would be welcome.

| OFFSHORE/SITE CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISORS |

We require additional Offshore & Site Construction Supervisors for offshore upgrade and refurbishment projects. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years offshore construction supervisory experience. Knowledge of drilling systems and/or derricks would be advantageous but not essential. Strong client and workforce liaison skills together with experience in producing and maintaining the applicable documentation is essential. Projects are both North Sea and Overseas. Suitable candidates can expect long term employment in these positions.
