JOB MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – GREAT YARMOUTH

We are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to provide high quality financial services and information that leads to improvement in profitability, cash flow and management processes.

MAIN DUTIES:
  • Produce weekly detailed cash flow reports for the UK and Middle East, together with consolidated schedules.
  • Production of weekly turnover reports together with B/E analysis.
  • Gross profit analysis, investigation and reporting.
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations at both Company and consolidated levels. Investigate and resolve any differences.
  • Involvement in year-end processes.
  • Initially supporting the UK Finance Manager in the preparation of management accounts at individual Company and consolidated levels.
  • Preparation of management accounts for either overseas or UK management accounting entities.
  • Liaison with departments in the provision of relevant information to meet operational needs.
  • Monthly inter-Company reconciliation and eliminations and co-ordination with subsidiary Finance Managers..
  • System development.
  • Any other duties commensurate to role.






EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
Several years experience in a similar role, preferably within the Oil and Gas sector or service related business.
Experience of working in a Group/International environment and with exposure to multi currencies.
Experience of working in a fast, high volume, preferably within the Oil and Gas sector or service related sector.
Strong commercial awareness.
Experience of working with line management and integrating financial matters with operations matters.
Strong attention to detail and highly numerate.

JOB Inspections Manager – Middle East

Due to expansion of our operations in Sharjah we now have a position available for Inspections Manager. The position is responsible for the development and day to day running of our Inspections business in the Middle East which typically involves, rig condition surveys, lifting equipment, PRV, drilling structures and dropped objects Inspections etc. to both onshore and offshore installations.

The ideal applicant must have several years experience as an Inspections Manager or Operations manager in an Inspections type business in the upstream sector of the Industry, ideally in the Middle East. You should be fully conversant with all routine inspections of MODU's etc. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate a strong background in sales/business development and customer relationships associated with Inspections services especially in the MENA region.

MAIN DUTIES:
  • Ensure the day to day running of all aspects of the department are running professionally and smoothly. This will include ensuring that reporting data is compiled and dispatched on time, that personnel/equipment requirements are resourced and organised, and that all relevant training requirements, equipment certification etc. is kept up to the company standards.
  • Ability to develop and administer the growth and development of the Inspections Department obtaining and maintaining various certification and accreditation to Industry bodies.
  • Liaison with customers regarding issues ranging from sales enquiries, progress, close out etc.
  • Providing assistance to management in the development of tender/bid packages
  • Ensuring services comply with specified quality standards and company's commercial and contractual obligations
  • Maintaining, training and recruiting workforce and that discipline in accordance with company employment procedures and in observance of applicable statutory regulations is maintained.


JOB Structural Engineer – Great Yarmouth

We have a vacancy for a Structural Engineer in our head office in Great Yarmouth. The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree and at least five years’ experience in structural analysis and engineering within the Oil and Gas Industry. Previous experience of drilling structures or offshore structures would be advantageous, but as a minimum, candidates should be experienced in structure modelling and analysis for offshore structures, lift analysis, load out, transport analysis etc. Experience of either Strucad, STAAD and/or FS2000 would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical, engineering and design work scopes, carrying out design reviews and performing design verification. The work is interesting and varied and offers the opportunity to work within a small engineering and projects team engaged in the upgrade, design and redesign of drilling structures.

If you have 2+ years experience in offshore rope access construction activities, preferably with derrick related experience we would be interested to hear from you, ideal experience/qualification would include;

We are actively seeking additional derrick inspectors for all our Worldwide locations to carry out API Cat III & IV inspections on offshore derricks and onshore masts and substructures.
JOB Derrick Inspections Personnel
DATE
We have positions available for personnel with experience of undertaking Derrick, Mast and Substructure inspections. The work is varied and involves both onshore and offshore rigs, worldwide, therefore candidates must be willing to travel extensively. You must also be able to convey a detailed knowledge of drilling structures and compile comprehenstive inspection reports and associated information via computer software. Applicaitons from personnel with NDT and/or Welding Inspector qualifications would be advantageous.
These positions are considered long term, at attractive rates and high earnings potential. Overseas candidates that match the above requirements would be welcome.
JOB Offshore / Site Construction Supervisors

We require additional Offshore & Site Construction Supervisors for offshore upgrade and refurbishment projects. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years offshore construction supervisory experience. Knowledge of drilling systems and/or derricks would be advantageous but not essential. Strong client and workforce liaison skills together with experience in producing and maintaining the applicable documentation is essential. Projects are both North Sea and Overseas. Suitable candidates can expect long term employment in these positions.
JOB Rope Access Personnel

JOB Derrick/Land Rig Inspectors

DSL Middle East are recruiting Inspectors experienced in the inspection of offshore derricks and onshore mast and substructures to API 4G as well as experience in Dropped Object Surveys.

Inspectors must possess valid Offshore Survival/Medical and be IRATA certified. Applicants that are also LGI inspectors with LEEA qualification are welcome to apply.
Applicants not living in Dubai will be required to work a 6-2 week rotation. Must be required to work/travel throughout the MENA region as required. We would also welcome applications for personnel with Inspections co-ordination/operations experience.

Due to continued growth we are recruiting additional personnel for a variety of on-going derrick related projects Worldwide. Suitable candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working on derricks and should ideally have a recognised rigging qualification and/or trade background. IRATA certification is also required.

You must be willing to travel Worldwide for long, (4-6 weeks) and short durations. You must also be willing to undergo additional internal or external training that may be required.

SCOPE
Review of all rig equipment certification and inspection of all critical safety elements of the equipment that could be expected to cause operational downtime when a mechanical failure occurs.

INSPECTION SERVICES

Analysis of equipment condition and standards of maintenance, in accordance with API Standards and Equipment Manufacturer's Specifications and Recommendations

Opening of all major items of equipment for internal inspection as requested, for the purpose of a detailed examination of gear teeth, bearings, chains and ancillary parts for excessive wear, damage, cracks and other defects and for the measurements of clearances
Perform function testing, pressure testing, load testing and insulation resistance checks for all critical equipment on the drilling unit, as applicable

Conduct check on and ensure correct installation and working condition of safety devices for accident prevention and avoidance of equipment failures

Check availability of HSE standards and procedures related to safe operation of drilling and work-over rigs and safety of personnel and protection of environment

The efficiency and effectiveness of the Rig Preventive Maintenance Systems

REPORTS
Compilation of comprehensive reports and certification of compliance attesting that all inspection and repair/modification work has been satisfactorily completed in accordance with controlling codes and standards.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years’ experience, Knowledge of Equipment, Industry Standards and Specifications
