Many of our day to day core business activities are associated with
both drilling structures and other components around the rig.
This day to day work ranges from design and manufacture, to upgrade,
refurbishment, inspection and decommissioning activities. Within these
workscopes we cover all the components of a structure, be it structural,
mechanical, electrical or piping.
As you would expect, the consideration of potential dropped objects is a primary
function of the design stage of anything that we design, supply and/or
manufacture, not to mention our offshore activities. Therefore, when you engage
DSL to undertake your dropped object surveys, you are engaging a company that
has the issue of DROPS intertwined with almost every element of its day to day
business activities. It also means that you are engaging a company that can
resolve any issues that may require engineering input etc.
