Derrick Services (UK) Ltd 10 May 2008 DSL currently employs in the region of 100 people and is involved in the design and manufacture of drilling structures, upgrade, refurbishment of Drilling Rigs and Installations, design/fabrication of Drilling Structures, Subsea Structures and components and general fabrication.

Project Engineer - Operations Support 09 May 2008 We have an opportunity for a full time Project Engineer to join our Great Yarmouth operation running small and medium sized projects and supporting company operations as a whole. The ideal candidate will have experience of the upstream Oil and Gas Industry, and knowledge of drilling rigs/systems or a fabrication background would be a particular advantage. Previous experience in a service company type environment would be helpful but not essential. The position involves a wide variety of activities from assisting in the tendering process of projects to the planning and completion phases. The position will be particularly attractive to someone that enjoys working in a proactive and p ositive environment and is able to rise to the challenges that the position entails. Rope Access Services and Inspections Manager 19 April 2008 Due to the expansion of our rope access services and inspections related business we have a management position for an experienced individual to both develop, manage and grow this department. The ideal candidate should have an operational and/or business development management background in Rope Access Services combined with at least some experience/background in an Inspection related business. The ability to communicate effectively with both customers and staff is essential and suitable candidates will be accustomed to implementing their own initiative and drive to achieve results. This is an ideal position for a manager who is looking to both further their career and have a direct input into the development of both the department and the business going forward. The position will be located either in our Aberdeen or Great Yarmouth office, subject to the location of the ideal candidate. Remuneration package will be subject to negotiation but candidates can expect a good base salary, as well as a performance related bonus and benefits package. Construction Supervisor 20 March 2008 A supervisor is required for offshore Upgrade and Refurbishment Projects. Candidates must have supervisory experience of offshore construction and will ideally be familiar with Drilling Systems. Strong client and workforce liaison skills together with experience in producing and maintaining the applicable documentation are essential.
