| Sales Manager – Houston Office |

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Sales Manager to represent DSL in Houston, but also covering the rest of the USA and Mexico, as and when required. The position will be focused on both retaining and developing business relationships with our Houston/USA based customers, most of which are International Drilling Contractors. You will report to the DSL Global Sales and Marketing Manager.
Ideally, you will need the appropriate technical background appropriate to the products and services provided by DSL. You should have at least 5 years sales experience in the upstream sector of the industry, and able to demonstrate a successful track record in this sector. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are also required.
Key Tasks
• Drive DSL sales to Houston based customers to meet annual revenue budgets;
• Promote the awareness of DSL and build long term relationships with drilling contractors, oil company operators, government regulators and industry bodies as required;
• Monitor O&G media for suitable business opportunities;
• Identify international market opportunities with Houston based customers;
• Attend conventions and conferences in the Houston area;
• Ensure that DSL is included on all relevant international bid lists for specific projects and master service agreements with oil majors and contractors;
• Follow-up with clients on submitted bids and ensure that clarifications are responded to;
• Participate in and lead client negotiations;
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation;
• Provide weekly reports and data input into the DSL system as required;
• Travel overseas as required.

| Project Engineer - Singapore |

PROJECT ENGINEER - SINGAPORE
We have an opportunity for a full time Project Engineer to join our Singapore operation, running small and medium sized projects on mobile drilling units. The ideal candidate will have experience of the upstream Oil and Gas Industry, and knowledge of drilling rigs/systems, rig upgrade/refurbishment background would be a particular advantage. Previous experience in a drilling contractor or upstream service company type environment would be useful. Candidates should be either degree qualified in mechanical or structural engineering, or be able to demonstrate at least 3 years experience in a similar role.
The position involves a wide variety of activities from assisting in the tendering process of projects to the planning of resources and completion phases.
The position will be particularly attractive to someone that enjoys working in a proactive and positive environment and is able to rise to the challenges that the position entails. The successful candidate must be able to work relatively unsupervised and would suite an individual with self drive and determination.

Undertake 6 and 12 monthly LGI and Drilliing Tools on MODU's.
Undertake the thorough examination and where applicable proof load testing of lifting equipment, machines and appliances, onshore and offshore as required by company operations and in accordance with company procedures, instructions and industry best practice.
Complete digitised examination, test and remedial action reports in accordance with company requirements.
Long term employment for personnel with a profesional and productive approach to their work.
Previous experience of LGI on Drilling Units is essential.

We require a Project Engineer located at our Singapore facility to support upgrade and refurbishment projects to drilling derricks and land rigs. Ideal candidates should be degree qualified, and should have at least 3 years experience in upstream related projects such as rig refurbishment, upgrade etc. This position will involve being part of a small team working in a pro-active environment, liaising with customers and vendors and organising resources and personnel for small and medium sized projects throughout South East Asia. You will be required to travel to rig sites and/or customer locations throughout the region for site surveys etc. as and when required.

Our Singapore operation requires an Inspections Co-ordinator to assume control of the day to day logistics and administration of our inspections workscopes. The ideal candidate will be a resident of Singapore and have at least 5 years inspections related experience in the oil & gas industry. Experience of inspection of lifting equipment, drilling tools inspection and general NDE is a must and a knowledge of BHA inspection or other inspection workscopes associated with the upstream sector of the industry would be advantageous. Candidates must also have at least 2 years experience in a co-ordinating or management role.

We have positions available for personnel with experience of undertaking Derrick, Mast and Substructure inspections. The work is varied and involves both onshore and offshore rigs, worldwide, therefore candidates must be willing to travel extensively. You must also be able to convey a detailed knowledge of drilling structures and compile comprehenstive inspection reports and associated information via computer software. Applicaitons from personnel with NDT and/or Welding Inspector qualifications would be advantageous.
