DSL employs Rig Building Crews all over the World, erecting,
outfitting,
decommissioning, extending and modifying Derricks. We carry several crews who
are all multi-disciplined and employed on a full time basis. Our policy is not
to
hire-in or subcontract staff and all of our Rig Builders undergo an extensive
level of both in-house and external training, as well as
competency assurance. This ensures we are doing everything we can to enhance
the safety of our staff as well as providing you
with the safest guys possible to do this type of work.
Obviously without proper training and/or competency assessment, the activities
of a Rig Building crew could represent a potential liability to any individual
and the project. DSL continues to invest in the training and competency
assessment of its Rig Building crews on an ongoing basis to ensure that the
safety of our personnel and others is not compromised in any way. |

We have an extensive in-house training structure where we undertake
activities such as Derrick erection & dismantling, Crown Block removal
& installation, Safe Working at Height and many other procedures that make
up our overall training syllabus.
We have decided to set the standard and provide the industry with the most well
trained and competent Rig Building crews possible, and we believe that you will
be hard pressed to find a similar level of commitment or professionalism within
the industry.
