DSL has won a contract for the refurbishment of the dynamic drilling derrick on board the Ensco 5005 whilst in its shipyard visit in Singapore. The work scopes include the design and manufacture of a new racking board, refurbishment of the crown sheaves and replacement of all crown ladders and platforms, replacement of various derrick stem members and a complete bolt change.
Shelf Key Gibraltar – DSL has completed an intensive program of the replacement of the majority of the sea water, fire water and well test piping on this Jack Up in between contracts. The work scope involved DSL putting 20 men on the rig for a total duration of 20 days to complete the work.
