DSL Completes Api 4G Cat I & II Drilling Structure Inspection Training For Enafor In Algeria

Derrick Services (UK) Ltd Training Academy completes Drilling Structure Inspection training based on the requirements of API 4G for Algeria based ENAFOR, oil drilling specialists with over 45 years’ experience.
In May 2015, eight ENAFOR engineers undertook the two and a half day programme lead by DSL Drilling Structure Specialist Trainer, Tony Palmer. The course is aimed at providing drilling personnel with the fundamental skills required to conduct Category I and II drilling structure inspections to reduce damage and possible incidents and report repairs where necessary. The course has been developed utilising DSLs competency and expertise in drilling structure inspection, DSL is proud to have channelled its experience to provide a positive qualification and contribution to the industry.
The course was very successful and thoroughly enjoyed, ENAFOR’s Revamping Department Head, states he is, ‘Very impressed with both the course delivery and content and will definitely put more of the ENAFOR crew through the course’
The Drilling Structure Inspection course includes Inspection of Crown Blocks, an overview of API 4G Category I & II Inspections, Inspection of Hydraulic Systems, hoses and piping, Inspection of Access & Safety Equipment and various other safety critical topics.
